Jeff
Baicher played soccer in the Santa Clara County area for the Sunnyvale
United Soccer club beginning at an early age. This brought him the opportunity
to take his talents to the high school level where he was a standout at
Homestead High and was named the Central Coast Section Player of the Year.
From there he attended Foothill
Junior College where they won the state championship and he was awarded
Junior College All-American honors. He then attended Santa Clara University,
where he again was awarded All-American honors, MVP of the final four,
and an NCAA Division I championship.
In 1991 Jeff had the opportunity
to play overseas in Manchester, England for Manchester United. From 1990-1998
he was selected to play on the United States Olympic Team.
In 1996, he joined the MLS
Clash (now the San Jose Earthquakes), where he played until 2000. While
with the Clash he was named the player of the week 10 times. He was then
traded to the New England Revolution and the following year went to the
Kansas City Wiz.
Jeff joined the Force Soccer
Club in 2004 as both a coach and the Boys Coaching Director. At the
December 2005 AGM Jeff was voted in as the new club President.
