Olly
Bayliss is from Wales and played all his soccer growing up in both Wales
and England. He took his talents to the Welsh National Youth team
and also playing in the semi-professional leagues of England and the Premier
League in Wales.
Olly attended MMU (Manchester
and Metropolitan University) where his team went on to win a National Championship,
gaining colors for his school. During vacation’s and holidays he
coached at the Mid Wales Soccer School and Development programs which let
into the coaching career.
In the summers of 1995 –
97 Olly coached for MLS camps in various states around America including
a training program in Wyoming. From there a full time career with
MLS Camps blossomed and since 1998 Olly is the West Coast North Regional
Manager for MLS Camps setting up various camps and clinics.
Olly's coaching background
includes the English FA coaching badge, Certificate of coaching from MMU,
USSF C and B licence and the NSCAA national diploma (distinguished pass).
Olly has been a coach/trainer
in the De Anza YSL for 6 years and also is the player coach of his men’s
team Rovers SC in the Peninsula Premier Div, where he has been top scorer
the last 3 years.
