Coach
Owen Flannery is another local product that played collegiate soccer at
San Jose State University from 1996 to 2001. Before college Owen
was on the California North State ODP team from 1991 to 2000 and also attended
the Tahuichi Soccer Academy in Bolivia in 1995 and 1996.
Owen has many years of youth
coaching experience including Head Women's Soccer Coach at Foothill College,
Director of Soccer at Menlo College, Head Varsity Coach at Gunn High School
1998-2002, and as the Assistant and Head Coach at various levels of the
Olympic Development Program (ODP). Owen joined the Force Soccer Club
in 2005..
Owen has a Bachelor of Science,
Kinesiology from San Jose State University and is finishing his Masters
of Art in Sports Psychology at John F. Kennedy University. Owen has
earned the following coaching diplomas:
'A' License - US Soccer
NSCAA Advanced Diploma
NSCAA National Youth Diploma
NSCAA National Goalkeeper Diploma
