| About:
Commitment - I think that the De Anza Force club stands out from the other clubs because of the high level of commitment. Being on De Anza Force 91 was an experience completely different from the other teams I played on before. I feel like all of the players are committed to each other and growth even if it meant making sacrifices. Everyone wants to be there and the level of support is tremendous. We made the team a priority and everyone shared the same strong commitment.
College Bound - I am nervous about playing soccer in college but I am also very excited. I think that the intensity of the Force helped to prepare me for the college level.
Coaching - I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am to my coaches (Owen Flannery, Alan Kute, and Curtis McAlister). All of them helped me grow so much as a player by constantly teaching new ideas, evaluating previous performances, and providing suggestions on how to improve. I always felt challenged, but they also taught me in such a way that I felt I could meet their expectations. I honestly do not know where I would be with out these great coaches. In addition to the technical skills and tactics of the game, they taught me the importance of the mental aspect of soccer. With their assistance I learned that competition, commitment, love of the game, and the will to win are essential to team and individual success and I learned how to apply these ideals to every game and practice.

I would like to thank everyone in the Force club that made playing soccer in college possible. The Force club kept me and my family informed and helped a great deal by providing events like the college nights. Without the knowledgeable coaches and their willingness to help me in the college process I'm not sure I would have enjoyed all of the success that I have. I also want to thank all of the parents that organized dinners, created caravans, made team bonding events, and pretty much managed our soccer careers. All of the people within the Force Club made my experience with De Anza Force 91 unforgettable. I appreciate this club so much for it's hard work and commitment to the players.
