The Force journey for Kevin Atkins: by Kurt Atkins (Kevin's Father):
"It all stared after attending Dallas cup (The top boy's tournament in the country)...
In this tournament our coach Jeff Baicher realized that in order to compete at the highest level with the top clubs in the country and achieve college exposure for his team he needed to have a year around training program! The Force-Academy was created!
The first year of the academy program was Kevin's first year of high school, and the decision to play academy VS high school was an extremely difficult one, trust me. We decided on the Force-Academy (the best decision we could have made) our first year, we won every tournament we entered, we played in the top tournaments in the country was seen by many college coaches, and finished the year as the North American Champion.
Kevin now in his junior year of high school has received four scholarship offers after the September 1st rule of his junior year. WOW! WE ARE VERY EXCITED. I would recommend to any parents if the goal is to get into college, the academy is a vital part, with development of the player, and being seen at the highest level.
