Larry Jackson Try-Out with Glasgow Rangers Aug 11, 2008
Long time Force goal keeper Larry Jackson has been on trial at Glasgow Rangers in Scotland for over a month and is excelling in front of one of the best teams in Europe. "The experience here is amazing. I started out training with the reserves twice a day but then was quickly moved into training with the first team, "said Larry. Larry has had a truly colorful path and the Rangers experience is continuing to flame his desire to some day play professionally in Europe. Larry Jackson lead the Force 90 team to win every major event in the United States and catapulting the team to number one in the nation. His talents were quickly notice by the U.S. National Team and spent the next two years living in Bradenton, Fl. preparing for the U17 World Cup. Immediately following the World Cup Larry continued to shine in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and verbally agreed to attend Santa Clara University in 2009. "I have been extremely fortunate to have been developed in such a great club like the Force. Not only the day to day training, professional coaching, development, but the contacts and relationships the club has with European soccer clubs, U.S. national team coaches, and most important to my mom every college coach in the nation."
