Coach David Burgee guided the Force 98B Blue team to 3 wins and a tie to win the Adidas CASA Soccer Tournament. In the championship game, the Force 98B Blue played cross town rivals Santa Clara Sporting 98 and defeated them 3-0 to win the championship. Force 98B Blue scored 22 goals while conceding only 3 goals during the entire tournament and had 3 consecutive shutouts during their final 3 games. The team has been working hard for the past several weeks on their defensive shape, work rate, changing the point of attack, working on combinations and keeping possession and it payed off magnificently during the tournament.
