On November 21-22, in Union City, the DeAnza Force 98 Silver Boys competed in the NorCal Cross Regional Playoffs. These regional playoffs included the top two teams from each of NorCal's regions. The Force 98 Silver Boys were invited to play in this play-off weekend because they finished first in their NorCal Fall season.

The team had a fantastic tournament both days. Their first match was against the NorthBay Elite Futbol 98 Boys Blue. The game was a tight one, with the Force playing some highly skilled soccer, and defeating the Elite 4-3 to advance to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals the Force then faced the ElDorado United Crew 99 Azzurri. There was more well-played soccer from both teams, with the Force winning 3-1. The boys were then on to the finals. The championship game was a very competitive game versus the Mill Valley Fusion. They were a considerable opponent, but again, with great passing and teamwork, the Force prevailed and clinched the championship by a score of 4-0.

With the Force Silver claiming the NorCal U11 Regional Play Offs, they are one of the winningist teams in the U11 age group, on a 27 game winning streak. They are well positioned and will be strong going into the State Cup competition in which they are playing in the top 8. The boys have really come together as a team, well done Force Silver 98!
