  • Mission Statement:

The Force Soccer Club is resolved to provide its members an unequaled Soccer program that identifies, and develops soccer-enthusiasts, so that they become self-confident, skillful, and tactically knowledgeable players. We recognize and are in full accord with the ideal that a player that respects themselves, the game, and all who they come into contact with, will ultimately excel on and off of the field. Headquartered in the City of Cupertino, the Force reaches out to the surrounding Bay Area and beyond. Any group of people or individual that embraces our commitment to excellence, and our drive to achieve the extraordinary can realize success by exposure to professional coaching, elite competition, and a well-organized administrative body.

The Force Soccer Club further supports sportsmanship through its affiliation with the Positive Coaching Alliance, the pursuit of competitive play to a player’s highest level of competition, and that the Force environment always be instructional, affirming, and positive. Integrity is the hallmark of the Force Soccer Club, as it undertakes the goal of passing on to its players/community, the opportunity to realize their potential as persons and players, and the responsibility to take ownership of the “love of the game” for the next generation.

  • Community Goals:

The Force Soccer Club is intentional about reaching out to the entire community that it serves. The Club’s outreach extends to all lovers of the game, inclusively and freely embracing everyone, without regard to gender, ethnicity, station, or creed. The Club’s membership consists of a diverse, yet unified group of families, all drawn to the Force’s commitment to excellence, representative of the local communities that it serves. The Force Soccer Club works diligently toward being a good civic neighbor, in conjunction with all local City government and other related civic organizations. The Force Soccer Club offers itself as an example to the community of integrity and aplomb.

  • De Anza Force Standards of Conduct:
    • A positive attitude shall be shown towards players, coaches, officials and spectators at all times.
    • Parents will leave all of the coaching and training to the coaching staff. No ill-tempered behavior shall be displayed during games, practices or any other time Club business is being conducted.
    • No remarks shall be addressed to opposing players, coaches, spectators, or to referees except when comments convey friendship and respect.
    • We expect that parents will communicate with the coaching staff periodically concerning the mental, physical, and emotional condition of their son or daughter.
    • We expect all club members to maintain an attitude that is focused on the excellence of play rather than on just winning.
    • No smoking or alcohol consumption shall be allowed during soccer matches and practice.
    • The Club shall expect genuine cooperation between coaches, especially within their own age group.
    • All members of the Club are subject to the Standard of Conduct and the by-laws of the Club.
