ELITE CLUBS NATIONAL LEAGUE
"Highest Level Of Competition For The Elite Female Athlete"
The De Anza Force continues to set the standard of elite soccer in northern California. Much like the U.S. Soccer Development Academy on the boys side, the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) will expose our girls to the highest level of competition in the country. This means stronger player development as well as opportunities to be seen by the US National teams and it also further strengthens college exposure across the country.
The ECNL is the elite competitive league for youth female soccer players in the United States. In the inaugural 2009-10 season, the ECNL consisted of 40 of the top female youth soccer clubs throughout the United States competing in two 20-team flights - Challenge A and Challenge B. In its second season, this years ECNL will add 12 new clubs, including the Force, to the league for a total of 52 top clubs in the nation.
The ECNL is a national youth soccer league for U-15, U-16 and U-17 girls' teams for the purpose of providing the highest level of competition and the best developmental environment for American female youth soccer players, as well as an identification and development program, which will seek to include players in US Soccer's National Teams.
The Elite Clubs National League was created to enhance the developmental experience of the female youth soccer players in the United States through: (i) improving the competitive environment through creation of a true nationally-based competitive league with multiple flights; (ii) improving the process for identifying elite female soccer players for the U.S. Soccer youth national teams through a systematic scouting and identification program based on national competition; and (iii) improving the daily training environment at female youth soccer clubs through developing best practices and training and organizational guidelines for its member clubs.

Force 93G Blue:
The Juventus Victory 93 team has joined the De Anza Force Club. Along with the current De Anza Force 93G Blue (2008 Abronzino Champions) team, the Force club will be fielding two Class 1-Division 1 teams for Spring and Fall 2009. We are looking for serious players at all positions who are committed to playing soccer at the highest level, and who are interested in potentially playing at the collegiate level.
We have two of the most outstanding (and successful) coaches in California. Joe Silveira, who has both played and coached professionally (SJ Earthquakes), and holds a USSF "A" license. Joe was the Director / Coach for the mens and womens programs at Notre Dame de Namur University where his teams were nationally ranked. He was named Conference Coach of the year more than 6 times while at Notre Dame; and has served as the US Liaison to the 1994 Brazilian World Cup team.
Iman Siadat has successfully played soccer at both the collegiate (full scholarship, team captain, All-Conference) and professional levels. In 2001, Iman founded and managed the Southern Oregon Fuego, a semi-professional team in Ashland, Oregon. While in Oregon, he coached both the girls and boys varsity Ashland high school teams taking the boys to the State semi-finals in 2006. As coach of the U18G team for the Rogue Valley Soccer Club, Iman's team won the State Championship advancing to the Regionals.
These two De Anza teams will compete in the 2009 California State Cup and Super Y League in the Spring. In addition, the teams will compete in the NorCal State Cup, Mustang Stampede, Surf Cup and SoCal Blues Cup, to name a few.
We will be holding an open tryout on Sunday, February 15; however, our coaches are also available to watch interested players compete on their high school teams, or to have players attend our team practices starting in February.
For more information and details, please contact Mike Francoeur at 408-568-8940 (email: mlfrancoeur@yahoo.com); or Leo Martinez at 408-761-1383 (email: elmm_4re@pacbell.net).
